Terms of Service:

Welcome to Tutandale’s terms and conditions for the use of our platforms as an event organiser. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Accounts
1.1. When you create an account with Tutandale, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
1.2. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.
1.3. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify Tutandale immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account.
2. Events
2.1. As an event organiser using Tutandale's Service, you are solely responsible for the events you create, including but not limited to event details, scheduling, ticketing, and content.
2.2. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction when organising events using Tutandale's Service.
2.3. You agree not to organise events that promote or involve illegal activities, violence, discrimination, hate speech, or any content that is offensive or inappropriate.
3. Ticketing
3.1. As an event organiser, you have the option to sell tickets for your events through Tutandale's Service. By using our ticketing services, you agree to abide by our payment terms and policies.
3.2. You are responsible for setting the price of tickets for your events and for any refunds or cancellations in accordance with our refund policy.
3.3. You agree not to engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices related to ticket sales, including but not limited to scalping, reselling tickets at inflated prices, or misrepresenting event details.
4. Ticket Commission Rate:
4.1. Tutandale shall receive a commission rate of 3.5% on each ticket sold through the platform.
4.2. In addition to the commission rate, there will be an extra charge of K1 on every ticket sale. This charge is non-negotiable and is applied per ticket sold.
4.3. The commission and additional charge shall be deducted from the total ticket sale proceeds before remittance to the Event Organizer.
4.4. Tutandale will provide a detailed breakdown of ticket sales, commissions, and additional charges to the Event Organizer. Remittance to the Event Organizer will be made promptly after deducting the applicable commission and charges.
4.5. Tutandale reserves the right to adjust the commission rate and additional charges upon providing reasonable notice to the Event Organizer.
5. Remittance of Ticket Sales Proceeds
5.1. The proceeds from ticket sales shall be remitted to the Event Organizer in two intervals, as follows:
  • a. Payment will be made upon the completion of 50% of ticket sales for the event.
  • b. Payment will be made upon the completion of 100% of ticket sales for the event.

5.2. The Event Organiser shall submit claims for payment to Tutandale upon reaching the specified intervals as outlined above.
5.3. Tutandale shall verify the claims submitted by Event Organiser and initiate payment within a reasonable timeframe. The verification process will ensure the accuracy of the ticket sales data and compliance with the agreed-upon remittance intervals.
5.4. Tutandale is committed to ensuring timely payment to the Event Organizer in accordance with the specified intervals and upon verification of the claims submitted.
5.5. Tutandale reserves the right to adjust the remittance intervals upon providing reasonable notice to the Event Organizer.
6. Content
6.1. You retain ownership of any content you upload, submit, or display on Tutandale's Service as an event organiser. However, by submitting content, you grant Tutandale a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
6.2. You agree not to upload, submit, or display any content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
7. Termination
7.1. Tutandale may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
7.2. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
8. Changes
8.1. Tutandale reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
Refund Policy:

1. Refund Eligibility:
Tutandale understands that circumstances may arise where attendees require a refund for purchased tickets. Refund requests will be considered under the following conditions:
1.1 Event Cancellation: In the event of event cancellation by the organiser, attendees will be eligible for a full refund of the ticket price.
1.2 Event Postponement: If an event is postponed to a later date, attendees will have the option to either attend the rescheduled event or receive a refund.
1.3 Event Changes: Significant changes to the event, such as venue changes or changes in the event's nature, may entitle attendees to a refund.
1.4 Other Circumstances: Tutandale may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for other valid reasons, such as extenuating circumstances preventing attendance.
2. Refund Process:
2.1 Attendees must submit refund requests directly through an email to Tutandale email via info@tutandale.com.
2.2 Refund requests must include relevant details, such as the ticket order number and reason for the refund.
2.3 Tutandale will review refund requests promptly and communicate the decision to the attendee.
2.4 Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 2-3 business days, to the original payment method used for the ticket purchase.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances.
3.1 Attendees who fail to attend an event without providing prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
3.2 Refund requests made after the specified deadline, as communicated by the event organiser, may not be honoured.
3.3 Service fees and processing fees associated with ticket purchases are non-refundable.
4. Event Organiser's Responsibility:
4.1 Event organisers are responsible for communicating their refund policy to attendees.
4.2 Any disputes or discrepancies regarding refunds will be handled directly between the attendee and the event organiser. Tutandale will not be liable for disputes related to refunds.
5. Changes to the Refund Policy:
5.1 Tutandale reserves the right to amend or update the refund policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Tutandale website. Attendees are encouraged to review the refund policy periodically for updates.
